Job Summary
Lead residential HVAC installation projects and mentor junior technicians. Responsibilities include installing furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and IAQ products; reading blueprints and load calculations; ensuring compliance with company standards, manufacturer specifications, and local codes; training apprentices; communicating with homeowners about system operation; maintaining accurate job documentation; keeping job sites safe and organized; and troubleshooting installation challenges. Required: 3–5+ years of residential HVAC installation experience, leadership experience or readiness for a lead role, EPA Certification, valid driver’s license, strong communication and customer service skills, ability to lift 50+ lbs, and capability to work in attics/crawl spaces under varying conditions. Required Qualifications
- EPA Certification (required)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- 3–5+ years of residential HVAC installation experience
- Proven leadership experience or readiness to step into a lead role
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and installation best practices
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in attics, crawl spaces, and varying weather conditions
