Job Summary
Lead Install Technician oversees installation, upgrade, and replacement of residential HVAC systems, leads a team of technicians, trains Install Helpers on job sites and in the shop, and ensures high-quality, safe, and compliant work. Responsibilities include handling complex installations, wiring (high/low voltage), pipe work (copper or PVC), delivering exceptional customer service to homeowners, maintaining organized tools and inventory, and upholding safety standards and occupational regulations. The role requires physical work (lifting, climbing, working in attics/crawlspaces), strong technical troubleshooting, and effective communication across customers and team members. Required Qualifications
- 2+ years HVAC Lead Install experience (residential)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- EPA certification
- TDLR
- Advanced troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Professional interaction with all levels of the organization
- Ability to lift 50-100 pounds regularly
- Comfort with physically demanding tasks and variable environments
