Job Summary
Lead Install Technician role overseeing installation, upgrade, and replacement of residential HVAC systems. Train and mentor Install Helpers on job sites and in the shop. Perform copper/PVC piping, high and low voltage wiring, and ensure compliance with appliance standards and safety regulations. Deliver exceptional customer service, communicate effectively with homeowners, and manage tools and inventory. Maintain a clean, organized work area; operate safely at heights and in tight spaces (attics, crawlspaces); handle physical tasks including lifting up to 100 pounds; work across varied environments and weather. Emphasizes teamwork, problem-solving, and ongoing training to ensure high-quality work and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5+ year HVAC experience (residential market)
- Valid Driver’s License with at least 3 years of experience
- EPA certification (environmental regulations)
- Advanced troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Proactive and enthusiastic approach with commitment to high-quality work
- Exceptional customer service and ability to address client needs
- Professional interaction with all levels within the organization
- Flexible and innovative, thrives in dynamic environments
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Climb ladders, access attics, crawlspaces, drive, use hand tools, fine detail work
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures and various environments
