Job Summary
Lay out, assemble, and install all areas of residential HVAC systems, including ductwork, split and package units, gas piping, venting, and electrical components. Set and start up installed systems while brazing copper and performing basic metal fabrication. Ensure proper duct sizing for 1.5 to 5-ton units and maintain EPA certification for refrigerant handling. Requires 2-5 years of field experience, a high school diploma or GED, and basic computer knowledge. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-5 years of field experience
- EPA certified to handle refrigerant
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- At the time of hire, employees will be required to provide proof of employment eligibility
- Must be able to lay out, assemble, and install all areas of residential HVAC installations including ductwork
- Must be able to set and start up split and package systems
- Must be able to handle gas piping, venting, and electrical work
- Must have knowledge of required duct sizing for supply and returns for 1.5 to 5-ton units
- Must be able to braze all sizes of copper
- Must be able to do metal fabrication
