Job Summary
Ensure entire population is finger imaged, conduct hourly house runs, and maintain daily participant census. Attend to participant daily needs, enforce facility rules, and monitor medication compliance. Perform daily room and locker checks for cleanliness, verify supply levels, and ensure compliance with fire and building regulations. Assign participants chore details and outside errands, manage surrounding grounds safety, and conduct evening fire drills. Direct building evacuation during emergencies and contact 911 when specialized assistance is required. Work Thursday through Sunday from 11 PM to 7 AM; schedule varies during initial training weeks.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma/GED
- 1 years' experience in the same or similar capacity
- Must have computer skills
- Must successfully complete a criminal background check
- Obtain clearance from the Office of Children and Family Services
- Be drug free
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends
- Thursday - Sunday 11PM - 7AM schedule
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to establish and maintain professional atmosphere with employee's, clients, and customers
Desired Qualifications
- CASAC, CASAC-T certification preferred
