Job Summary
Oversee two residential locations by ensuring resident safety, welfare, and a conflict-free atmosphere. Facilitate daily activity schedules, conduct audits of documentation, and review home conditions for health and cleanliness standards. Lead team member schedules, train staff on medical needs and medication compliance, and actively participate in Individual Support Plan meetings and tiered support sessions. Respond to 24/7 calls, arrange coverage during absences, and cover open shifts as needed. Collaborate with the Program Coordinator on monthly RN visits and quality management follow-ups.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of experience working in the field of intellectual/developmental disabilities
- Successful completion of training in the Missouri Quality Outcomes approved by the Division of Development Disabilities regional office
- Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint check
- Completion of New Hire Orientation at the beginning of employment
- All training requirements including Relias at the beginning of employment and annually thereafter
- Current driver's license
- Acceptable driving record
- Current auto insurance
- Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally
- Ability to exert a negligible amount of force frequently
- Ability to perform repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and/or writing
- Ability to sit most of the time
- Ability to walk or stand for brief periods
