Job Summary
Residential Helper assists a Driver on a designated waste-collection route, riding on the vehicle to help load waste, operate the packing mechanism, and direct the Driver from the ground. Responsibilities include loading waste, cleaning the packer blade and truck as applicable, performing pre- and post-operation inspections, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and providing courteous interactions with customers and dispatchers to ensure timely service. The role emphasizes safety, adherence to policies, and productive, professional route servicing with occasional other duties as assigned.
