Job Summary
Ride on the vehicle to assist the Driver while servicing customers on a designated residential route. Operate the packing mechanism and various levers to activate the lifting and loading system, then clean waste from the packer blade and truck body after each disposal trip. Perform complete pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections per company policy and report any safety issues. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and clean areas around accidental waste spills, ensuring adherence to all safety standards. Continuously monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable material and interact courteously with customers and dispatchers to ensure timely route servicing. Follow required productivity standards and safety procedures while performing other job-related duties as assigned.
