Job Summary
Ride on the vehicle to assist the Driver while servicing customers on a designated residential route. Operate the packing mechanism and various levers to activate the lifting and loading mechanism for waste disposal. Clean waste from the packer blade and truck body on each trip, spray and clean the hopper, and maintain vehicle cleanliness along the route and work area. Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle per Company policy and report safety issues. Continuously monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable material and clean accidental spills while adhering to all safety standards. Courteously interact with customers, dispatchers, and others to ensure routes are serviced in a timely and professional manner. Maintain adherence to required productivity standards and follow all safety policies.
