Job Summary
Direct overall facility operations to ensure high-quality resident care and regulatory compliance with federal, state, and local standards. Lead department managers, oversee quality assurance initiatives, and manage operational and financial performance including budget oversight. Collaborate with physicians, staff, residents, and families to advocate for resident needs and achieve organizational goals. Participate in committees, lead special projects, and support employee engagement and continuous improvement efforts. Requires a current New York State Nursing Home Administrator License and experience with regulatory compliance. Flexible schedule includes occasional evenings, weekends, and administrative on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Current New York State Nursing Home Administrator License (or eligibility, if applicable)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nursing Home Administrator
- At least 4 years of progressive supervisory and administrative experience in long-term care
- Strong knowledge of New York State Department of Health regulations, federal regulations, and long-term care operations
- Experience with budgeting, financial oversight, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and data management
