Job Summary
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential properties, including light plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, and electrical work. Coordinate and complete all requested tasks, assign priorities, and follow up on completion while tracking time and logging activities. Repair walkways and exteriors, manage incoming service requests, and complete renovation projects as needed. Work closely with the Property Manager or Superintendent to coordinate tasks and communicate with tenants to schedule access. Operate under on-call rotations to respond to tenant requests and issues.
Required Qualifications
- Thorough understanding of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years' experience with a successful track record as maintenance tech/handyperson
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule based on operational needs, including additional hours and adjusted shifts as required
- Experienced and knowledgeable in construction and maintenance
- Able to handle a wide variety of repairs (including painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
- Good at troubleshooting and problem solving
- Good communication skills to communicate with tenants and other staff effectively
- Good at using e-mail, text messages, and apps for business purposes
- Has a reliable vehicle to travel around to property locations (where applicable)

- Owns all tools needed for general handyperson tasks- is a PLUS
