Job Summary
Residential Garage Door Service Technician to repair garage doors and openers and perform installations for residential customers in the greater Southeastern Charlotte NC area (Waxhaw, Ballantyne, Indian Trail, Matthews). Role requires prior garage door repair/installation experience, mechanical aptitude, ability to work with hand and power tools, strong teamwork, self-motivation, valid driver’s license with clean driving record, basic math and legible handwriting. Position is full-time with potential for an operational management role after successful first year. Compensation includes hourly rate, commission program, and 401(k).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year of experience
- Previous experience servicing/installing garage doors
- Mechanical aptitude – knowledge and skilled in using various hand and power tools
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Team player; strong collaboration skills
- Self-starter with ability to operate without direct supervision
- Must have valid drivers' license with good driving record and be insurable
- Basic math and legible handwriting
