Job Summary
Draft residential frames using AutoCAD, applying structural principles to compute percentages and perform basic algebra and geometry for wood-framed construction projects. Manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining strong organization and time management skills to meet tight deadlines. This full-time role requires the ability to work long days and weekends as needed, with a preference for candidates possessing one year of structural design experience. Required Qualifications
- Proficient using AutoCAD
- 1 year of structural design experience
- the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide to compute percentages, and to perform basic algebra and geometry
- Strong writing/grammar skills
- Strong organization and time management skills which includes the ability to multi-task and run multiple projects concurrently
- willingness to work long days and weekends as required
- A team-oriented, proactive and adaptable work ethic
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in wood-framed construction a plus
