Job Summary
Install and troubleshoot Hearth products for Williams dealers and residential customers while adhering to established installation and operations procedures. Communicate effectively with external customers and internal staff via verbal and text channels. Confirm installation requirements by reading manuals, codes, and related materials, and utilize electronic scheduling systems using a smartphone or tablet. Work under supervision using tools, ladders, and harnesses to reach elevated areas up to 40 feet, including roofs, chases, and crawl spaces. Handle materials such as manufactured fireplaces, wood mantels, natural stone, metal venting, and gas lines. Requires 0-2 years of relevant trades experience, ability to lift 75 lbs, and regular punctual attendance. Reports to the Manager, Installation Services.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 0-2 years of relevant trades experience
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the primary job responsibilities
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance
