Job Summary
Residential Fireplace Installer responsible for installation and troubleshooting of fireplaces, reading manuals and codes to confirm installation requirements, and performing duties under manager/trainer guidance. Responsibilities include effective verbal and written communication with external customers and Williams staff, completing tasks per established procedures, utilizing an electronic scheduling system on a smartphone or tablet, following company policies and SOPs, and performing additional tasks as assigned. Must work with a range of tools and equipment (hand and powered tools), ladders/scaffolding/lifts/harnesses as needed to access elevated areas, and handle materials such as manufactured fireplaces, wood and cast mantels, natural stone surrounds, venting, metal, and gas lines. Requires ability to exert up to 75 lbs, valid driver’s license, and legal authorization for employment in the United States. Typical schedule is Monday-Friday.
