Job Summary
Oversee daily operations of the residential group home for adolescents ages 12–20, ensuring safety, stability, and compliance with Title 22 and licensing regulations. Train and supervise direct care staff to provide appropriate supervision, dispense medication, and manage meal preparation and housekeeping duties. Apply the "Reasonable and Prudent Parenting Standard" for resident activities and maintain a therapeutic environment while supporting residents' treatment goals. Submit daily reports, manage petty cash procedures, and maintain positive relationships with parents. Work Wednesday through Saturday overnight shifts (11:00 PM–9:00 AM) in Van Nuys, reporting to the Program Director to drive continuous quality improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of full-time experience working with youth, or equivalent education/experience as determined by CDSS
- At least 2 years of experience working in a group home or STRTP in a social work or comparable residential role
- Demonstrated leadership, staff supervision, and team development skills
- Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and time-management abilities
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and effective in crisis situations
- Secure First Aid and CPR certification in a timely manner
- Full-Time: Overnight Shift
- Wednesday - Saturday 11:00 PM – 9:0AM
