Residential Energy Specialist | L1 Site Surveyor

Job Summary
Frontline validator of Ara installations at customers’ homes: assess installation feasibility (electrical panel capacity, indoor/outdoor space, placement feasibility, solar/battery configuration), educate homeowners on product and requirements, collect permitting and site data, record site measurements and configurations, and ensure readiness for receipt of products. Upload structured site reports after each visit, flag ready-to-install homes or conditional/ non-viable sites, and ensure smooth handoff to sales and operations. Strong emphasis on customer experience, clear communication of timelines and next steps, and non-sales-focused interaction.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of working experience in customer sales or advisory roles
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Ability and willingness to travel 100% of time
- May be required to travel to other dcbel hubs for up to two weeks at a time
- Must have compliant government issued ID for domestic air/ground travel
- Bonus skills: Bilingual French and English
