Job Summary
Consultative Residential Energy Consultant role focusing on in-home energy consultations for solar and battery storage solutions. Responsibilities include reviewing utility bills and site conditions to design solar/storage systems, educating homeowners on solar economics, financing, tax credits, and NEM 3.0, building a client base through outreach and referrals, guiding customers through proposals and installations, and staying updated on California utility incentives. Compensation includes weekly training pay, per-project commissions, monthly bonuses, health benefits eligibility after 90 days, and high earning potential with uncapped commissions. Experience in in-home or consultative sales preferred; bilingual in English/Spanish a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of sales experience, ideally in a consultative or in-home setting
- Strong listening, presentation, and problem-solving skills
- Comfort prospecting and developing your own client pipeline
- Self-direction, organization, and a long-term career mindset
- Reliable transportation, valid California driver's license, professional appearance
