Job Summary
Residential Energy Consultant conducts in-home energy consultations for Antelope Valley homeowners, reviews utility usage and roof/property conditions to design solar and storage solutions, educates on solar economics, financing, tax credits, and incentives, builds a client base through outreach and networking, walks customers through proposals and contracts to installation, and stays current on California utility rate changes. Requires 2+ years of consultative or in-home sales, strong listening/presentation/problem-solving, ability to develop a client pipeline, and reliable transportation with a CA driver’s license; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of sales experience, ideally in a consultative or in-home setting
- Strong listening, presentation, and problem-solving skills
- Comfort prospecting and developing your own client pipeline
- Self-direction, organization, and a long-term career mindset
- Reliable transportation, valid California driver's license, professional appearance
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, not required
