Job Summary
Conduct residential energy efficiency audits, install equipment, and perform pre- and post-installation verifications within a defined territory. Establish relationships with customers and contractors to ensure proper installation, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide guidance on configuration and enhancement. Record contractor interactions, verify program savings, and document all activities to adhere to compliance requirements. Act as an on-site company representative to encourage program participation and overcome barriers while providing input to program staff. Must reside near Jackson, TN, hold a valid driver's license, and possess the physical ability to inspect tight areas.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher in a related field
- BPI, QCI, or HERS Certification
- Experience in residential energy conservation, preferably in the Weatherization Assistance Program, residential construction, or a related field
- Enthusiasm for energy conservation
- Computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft programs including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Very good interpersonal, reporting, sales, writing and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well independently and in a team setting
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift thirty-five pound (35lbs)
- Physical ability to inspect tight areas, attics, crawl spaces, hatch doors, etc.
- Ability to utilize a tablet and mobile devices for audits and communication
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located without the need for employer sponsorship or support
