Job Summary
Perform electrical installations in residential new construction projects in accordance with NEC and company standards, leading small crews and supporting apprentice development. Maintain productivity, ensure projects remain on schedule, and communicate professionally with builders, inspectors, and supervisors. Troubleshoot electrical issues, document completed work, and secure required materials while upholding safety protocols and maintaining a clean jobsite. Uphold overall project quality and customer satisfaction standards. This role requires a Journeyman or Master Electrician license with 4+ years of residential new construction experience and knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of residential electrical experience, with strong emphasis on new construction
- Experience with residential generator installations and electrical renovations/remodels
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license
- Strong knowledge of the current National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Experience leading small crews and managing daily jobsite operations
- Ability to read blueprints, troubleshoot electrical systems, and ensure work meets code requirements
- Proven ability to meet deadlines, solve problems, and maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment
- Professional communication skills and a commitment to safety, quality, and customer service
- Must meet company driving requirements, including a valid Virginia license and acceptable driving record
