Job Summary
Operate company vehicles safely to transport passengers or deliver goods within designated residential areas, planning efficient routes that account for traffic and weather conditions. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and routine condition, reporting mechanical issues promptly to management. Communicate effectively with clients, dispatchers, and team members to coordinate schedules and resolve service-related issues while adhering strictly to all traffic laws and safety policies. Requires a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to pass background checks. Pay is $23-$25.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type being operated
- Clean driving record with no recent major traffic violations or accidents
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy
- Physical ability to enter and exit vehicles frequently and assist passengers or handle deliveries as needed
- Familiarity with local residential areas and basic navigation skills
- Previous experience as a residential or personal driver
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and minor repair skills
- Customer service experience demonstrating professionalism and courteous communication
- Certification in defensive driving or related safety training
- Ability to use GPS and other navigation technologies proficiently
- Strong navigation and route-planning skills
