Job Summary
Residential Driver operates a collection truck on a designated route, performs pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections, adheres to safety regulations, loads/disposes of waste at designated facilities, interacts professionally with customers, and completes required reports and productivity sheets. Must have a Class B+ CDL with air brakes, two years of experience driving heavy trucks, strong customer-service, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and accuracy in daily vehicle and route duties. The role emphasizes safe operation, adherence to company and regulatory safety standards, routine documentation, and responsive service on schedule-driven routes.
Required Qualifications
- Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement
- Two years of prior experience driving heavy commercial trucks
- Excellent reading and writing skills
- Specialized Knowledge Required – Including any required certificates, licenses, and registrations
- Excellent Customer Service skills
