Job Summary
Operate residential collection vehicles including side-loaders, rear-loaders, and automated trucks to service neighborhoods across Hope Mills. Efficiently collect solid waste, recyclables, and yard waste according to daily route sheets while providing courteous, professional service to residents. Perform required daily pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and coordinate closely with helpers, mechanics, and supervisors to maintain route operations. Maintain a strong commitment to local traffic laws and company safety procedures. Full-time daytime hours required with no visa sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- clean driving record
- 1+ years of commercial driving experience
- certificate from an accredited CDL school
- Ability to maneuver in and out of the cab
- handle outdoor conditions
