Job Summary
Residential Driver drives agency vehicles transporting individuals with disabilities to activities, handles ride requests and scheduling communication with residential managers, assists in loading/unloading using adaptive equipment, accompanies individuals to community activities, performs daily vehicle pre-trip/post-trip inspections, maintains vehicle cleanliness, implements service plans and accurately records outcomes, and communicates daily occurrences to supervisors and nursing staff. Requires adequate reading/writing skills in English, familiarity with the geographic area, and the ability to perform physical tasks including lifting; offers benefits including PTO from day one, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, 401K with employer matching, and referral bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a valid driver's license and driving record acceptable to agency insurance carrier.
- One-year prior experience driving large vehicles preferred.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain First Aid, CPR, and SCIP-R Certification.
