Job Summary
Provide respectful, professional support to clients in a home-like environment to achieve crisis stabilization goals. Ensure safety for clients, staff, and community members while liaising with community resources for comprehensive support. Lead recreational and therapeutic group activities, assist with treatment plan goals, administer medications per guidelines, and maintain accurate client service records. Support housekeeping duties and facilitate a welcoming residential setting. This part-time, 20-hour/week position includes driving for offsite meetings and client transport. Join Broadway Crossings' Adult Crisis Residential Unit, where staff collaborate to stabilize adults experiencing mental health or co-occurring crises as an alternative to hospitalization.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree or higher education course completion equivalency
- High School Diploma with related experience
- MHRT-1 certification
- CRMA certification
- Solid oral and written communication skills
- Teamwork skills
- Passion to help others
- Computer literacy
- Strong organizational skills
- Good driving record
- Valid driver's license
- Pass criminal background check
- Pass child protective service check
- Pass sex offender check
- Pass CNA registry check
- Not be on the state or federal suspension or disbarment list
- Ability to exert moderate physical effort with occasional standing, walking, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, typing and frequently lift and carry material weighing up to 25 pounds
- Pass pre-employment physical
- Provide proof of immunization or immunity against rubeola (measles), mumps, rubella (German measles), varicella (chicken pox), influenza, and hepatitis B
