Job Summary
Analyst/Associate in the Residential Credit group responsible for analyzing residential credit investments (whole loans), opining on relative value, assisting with pricing and execution of residential loan trades, and producing detailed portfolio reporting. The role emphasizes proactive asset management, surveillance of portfolio performance, and contributing to modeling/infrastructure development for both security and whole loan platforms. The candidate will track housing market trends and residential securitizations, propose new trade ideas, and communicate results to senior management. Strong analytical and modeling skills, proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint, and familiarity with Intex and Bloomberg are desirable; ability to manage multiple projects and work under time constraints is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Fixed Income/Mortgage experience preferred
- Familiarity with underwriting guidelines a plus
- Background is securitization or loan trading preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a fast-paced financial services organization
- Must be willing to work in New York, NY; role is based in NYC
- Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
- Must be willing to work additional hours as needed to complete deadline driven projects
