Job Summary
Directly supervise and engage with youth/residents in activities and daily routines; support skill building for all youth/residents through collaborative team work; participate in trainings (Motivational Interviewing; Courageous Conversations; ARC; Trauma Informed Practice; CPR and First Aid) and maintain necessary certifications; facilitate recreational activities while providing positive role modeling; ensure safe client transportation and medication administration once MAP certified; assist in providing basic needs (meals, safe living environment, hygiene) and maintain flexible, team-oriented care.
Required Qualifications
- High School degree or equivalent
- Availability evenings and weekends
- Valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to supervise youth and families
- Team-based collaboration
- Strong communication skills
- MAP certification or willingness to obtain MAP certification
- CPR and First Aid training or certification
- Motivational Interviewing; Courageous Conversations; Attachment, Regulation and Competency (ARC); Trauma Informed Practice training
