Job Summary

Conduct individual, group, and family counseling sessions while documenting care and preparing treatment plans for patients. Provide crisis intervention, modify problem behaviors, and act as a liaison between referral sources, insurance carriers, and families. Manage case responsibilities including initial and follow-up assessments, aftercare planning, and evaluating needs for external referrals. Ensure all patient care documentation is completed timely and clearly. Work full-time with a schedule of four 10-hour days, typically Sunday through Wednesday or Wednesday through Saturday, with one weekend day required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in social or health services field
  • Two or more years' experience in counseling field
  • Licensure or certification for counseling
  • CPR certification
  • De-escalation/restraint certification
  • First aid

Desired Qualifications

  • Four or more years' experience in the counseling field
  • Master's degree in social or health services field
  • One or more years' professional work experience
