Residential Counselor (Sat-Sun 12:00AM to 8:00AM)

Job Summary
Provide support and instruction to residents at the assigned site, including daily living skills, life skill development, transportation, and self-medication supervision. Assist residents with weekly program schedules and outside activities while maintaining the security and safety of the facility. Participate in developing Individual Recovery Plans and communicate assessments and observations to the treatment team in written and verbal forms. Maintain accurate client documentation in accordance with accrediting standards. This role requires a valid driver's license and completion of comprehensive competency-based training for adult mental health residential services, including CPI/CPR/First Aid certification within 90 days of employment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- four years of related work or life experience
- LPN license
- two years of related work or life experience
- one or more years of college
- related work or life experience
- RN license
- Bachelors degree from accredited college/university
- one year of related work or life experience
- Bachelors degree from accredited college/university
- mental health, health or other appropriate human services related discipline
- Valid driver's license
- Completion of comprehensive competency based training program for individuals providing adult mental health residential services
- Certification of CPI/CPR/First Aid
- Completion of essential learning online training
