Job Summary
Provide essential support, guidance, and life-changing skills to teen mothers in a safe, nurturing residential environment. Mentor residents through daily routines, including meal prep, schoolwork, chores, and self-care, while helping them build independence for long-term success. Create a calm, secure living space by handling crises with compassion and care, ensuring a supportive atmosphere for young families. Work alongside a dedicated team to empower residents to transition into self-sufficient adults. This role supports the Teen Parenting Programs at Ascentria Care Alliance, a nonprofit dedicated to changing lives and strengthening communities.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for people
- Experience working with women, teens, or children, especially in residential or community settings
- Ability to collaborate with others to create a positive environment and meet the needs of residents
- A natural ability to manage challenging situations with calm and compassion
- Must be 21+
- High school diploma
- Valid driver's license
