Job Summary
Conduct structured skills-based groups addressing coping, stress management, and daily living skills for judicially committed individuals and mentally disordered offenders. Provide psychoeducation on personal hygiene, social skills, and community reintegration while facilitating recreational activities and substance use treatment sessions. Perform home visits to monitor safe transitions, run urine screens as needed, and assist clients in connecting to medical, educational, and vocational resources. Prepare detailed encounter notes, participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning, and ensure compliance with confidentiality policies and facility safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year of mental health experience
- Must be able to pass a background investigation
- Must have valid California driver's license
- Good driving record
- Proof of current auto insurance
- Must meet insurability requirements of Company insurance carrier
Desired Qualifications
- Community-based mental health experience
- Active CPR certification
