Job Summary
Residential Counselor will work in our Shelter Staff program, providing life skills support and oversight of shelter operations to clients in a congregate emergency shelter. Responsibilities include ensuring guest safety, enforcing house rules, responding to emergencies, completing intake for new guests, guiding residents on daily activity schedules, supervising housekeeping and daily chores, providing crisis intervention, and documenting program activities. Preferred qualifications include 1 year of experience with social services and bilingual skills. The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and offers part-time overnight hours ( Saturdays and Sundays, 12AM-8AM) with a shift differential for overnight work.
