Job Summary
Provide direct service in an intensive GLE residential setting, helping persons served overcome barriers to independent living. Implement treatment plan interventions, administer medications per MAP policies, and assist with meal preparation and site maintenance. Deliver crisis interventions, accompany residents to medical appointments, and advocate for their healthcare and employment access. Use recovery-oriented, person-centered, and trauma-informed approaches while ensuring a safe, clean environment. Complete all required documentation and incident reports. Maintain a valid driver's license for site travel.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Must possess and maintain adequate insurance (if using personal vehicle)
- Maintain a safe driving record
- Valid US driver's license for at least six months
- Ability to pass a driver's screening background check
- At least 21 years of age
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds using proper lifting techniques or the use of a two-person lift
- Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment such as a calculator, copier, and printer
- Ability to sit, reach, climb stairs, and maneuver through narrow spaces or hallways
- Ability to speak, hear, and communicate with PS, staff, and external representatives

Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a human service discipline
- One to two years of job-specific experience in human services field
