Job Summary
Provide direct service in a GLE/SIE residential setting, helping Persons Served overcome barriers to independent living and implement treatment plan interventions as directed by the Team LPHA Clinician. Administer medications following MAP policies, store and dispose of drugs per company regulations, and teach medication management. Deliver crisis interventions, assist with meal preparation and physical site maintenance, and ensure a safe, clean environment. Collaborate with Integrated Team members, encourage social interaction, and act as an advocate for residents. Complete all required documentation, participate in trainings and supervision, and contribute to quality improvement goals. Maintain a valid driver's license for site travel. This role supports individuals with mental health and developmental disabilities at Vinfen sites across Massachusetts and Connecticut.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Must possess and maintain adequate insurance (if using personal vehicle)
- Maintain a safe driving record
- Valid US driver's license for at least six months
- Ability to pass a driver's screening background check
- At least 21 years of age
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds using proper lifting techniques or the use of a two-person lift
- Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment such as a calculator, copier, and printer
- Ability to sit, reach, climb stairs, and maneuver through narrow spaces or hallways
- Ability to speak, hear, and communicate with PS, staff, and external representatives

- Ability to bend, reach, file, sit, stand, and move around the facility

- MAP required within 150 days of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a human service discipline
- One to two years of job-specific experience in human services field
- Bilingual/bicultural applicants
- Applicants with lived experience of psychiatric conditions
