Job Summary
As a Residential Counselor at Cohannet Academy, you will provide enriching daily activities and support to adolescents in an Intensive Residential Treatment Program. Responsibilities include creating a safe therapeutic environment, role modeling coping strategies, and helping youth develop life skills. This position requires a passion for helping others, the ability to engage with at-risk youth, and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age
- COVID-19 Vaccination required
- Maintains valid driver’s license
- Background and driving record checks will be performed
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in behavioral health or youth counseling
- Ability to engage with at-risk youth
- Bilingual in a second language
