Job Summary
Residential Counselor II provides direct and indirect services to individuals and groups in a behavioral health setting. This full-time role operates on a NOC schedule (11:00 PM–7:30 AM), with a starting wage range of $28.27-$34.54 per hour, commensurate with experience and geography. The position requires high school/GED, 3 years of direct service in mental health, CPR/First Aid/CPI certification, and the ability to drive clients as needed. Required Qualifications
- High School graduation or a G.E.D. equivalent
- Three (3) years of direct service experience in a mental health setting
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- CPR, First Aid, and CPI certification (hands-on) on date of employment or prior to providing direct client care and maintain current certification
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive clients if required
- Passing post-offer physical examination, 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis, acceptable criminal background clearances, excluded party sanctions, and degree or license verification (as applicable)
