Job Summary
Residential Counselors are needed for the Alternative Options Youth Program, responsible for maintaining a therapeutic environment, meeting client needs in safety, emotional support, and daily living activities. Key responsibilities include attending clinical meetings, maintaining client records, promoting human rights, case management, and developing supportive relationships with clients. A high school diploma is required, along with at least one year of relevant experience and a driver's license. Ideal candidates may have an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a human service field and are encouraged to be bilingual.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- At least one year of experience
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving history
- Availability of an automobile to transport individuals or perform other supportive services as necessary
Desired Qualifications
- Associates degree or bachelor’s degree in human service field preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
