Job Summary
Conduct life skills support and crisis intervention for guests in a congregate emergency residential shelter while enforcing safety measures, program rules, and expectations. Manage site operations by documenting emergency responses, completing intake processes for new guests, and addressing resident concerns using a trauma-informed, client-centered approach. Uphold organizational values of equity, integrity, and compassion during daily duties. Work full-time evening shifts from 4 PM to 12 AM Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent education
- Excellent customer service, organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Excellent crisis management skills
- Proficient computer skills in basic computer software and data collection
- Good attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year previous experience working with individuals in need of social services (preferably low income individuals)
- Bilingual skills
