Job Summary
Residential Counselor role reporting to the Residential Coordinator under clinical supervision, delivering direct services to clients to promote independent living, participate in assessment and development of rehabilitation plans, provide crisis services, support transportation, health education, and documentation, and assist with medication supervision as needed. Requires strong communication skills, ability to work in a fast healthcare environment, and experience with Microsoft Office; bilingual abilities are a plus. Preferred Bachelor’s degree or RN licensure with related experience. Works in a VOAC residential setting focused on community integration and safe living environments.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- at least two years of experience in a mental health residential setting and/or social service related field
