Residential Counselor

Residential Counselor needed to support individuals in attaining quality of life and safety across settings. Key duties include implementing Positive Behavior Supports and Behavior Skills Plans, following EO509 Dining Guidelines, completing licensing/certification paperwork, administering daily schedules, providing job coaching and community engagement, implementing ISP objectives, assisting with daily living activities, transporting individuals as needed, and maintaining HIPAA/confidentiality. Must be able to perform physical interventions and restraints as required, handle information securely, and operate in environments requiring standing, sitting, lifting, and mobility. Required skills include strong verbal/written communication, teamwork, discretion with personal matters, adaptability to shifts/locations, emergency response, and basic computer skills. Education and experience: high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, CPR/First Aid, MAP, and DDS licensing and certification training; preferred one year residential experience.
