Job Summary
The Residential Counselor position involves supporting residents through initial move-in and orientation, monitoring medication compliance, and providing life skills education. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3 years’ experience working with the chronically mentally ill and/or dual diagnosed adult
- Certification in First Aid, CPR, BLS
- Current Food Sanitation certification
Desired Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of psychotropic and medical medications
- Proficient in the usage of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment
- Willingness to make decisions and support reasoning for those decisions
