Job Summary
As a Residential Counselor, you will provide direct care services and supervision to youth living with developmental disabilities and/or mental illnesses in residential group homes. Responsibilities include creating a caring environment, assisting with daily living activities, monitoring behavioral signs, directing group activities, performing light household duties, and providing transportation. Candidates are required to have a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in working with children/adolescents, possess a valid driver's license, and comply with safety and inspection protocols. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a mental health related field
- Bachelor's degree in unrelated field with six (6) months experience working with children/adolescents in a group setting
- High School diploma with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience working with children/adolescents in a group setting
- Valid Driver's License in good standing
- Cooperate with Oaks Integrated Care and The Department of Human Services in all inspections and investigations

- Experience working with children/adolescents in a group setting
Additional Requirements
- Must work 1 shift every 30 days
- Must work 2 or more holidays per year
- Must be available for weekend shifts based on program needs
- Must attend 8 staff meetings annually
