Job Summary
Conduct structured skills-based groups and one-on-one case management sessions to address coping, social, and daily living skills for judicially committed individuals. Provide recreational and social activities to support psychological stabilization, while monitoring substance use through urine screens and facilitating community resource connections. Perform personal space visits, house checks for safety and compliance, and prepare detailed encounter notes following every service interaction. Collaborate within the multidisciplinary treatment team to develop wellness plans and assist clients in achieving vocational and educational goals. Maintain professional boundaries, ensure HIPAA compliance, and deliver care in a nondiscriminatory manner to protect client autonomy and dignity.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to pass a background investigation
- Must have valid California driver's license
- Must have good driving record
- Must have proof of current auto insurance
- Must meet insurability requirements of Company insurance carrier
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of mental health experience preferred
- Community-based mental health experience preferred
- Active CPR certification preferred
