Job Summary
Conduct recreational and social activities to support individualized recovery and address chronic mental illness among judicially committed clients. Deliver structured skills-based groups covering time management, anger management, and budgeting while modeling appropriate behavior. Provide psychoeducation on personal hygiene, interpersonal communication, and community reintegration through one-on-one case management and group sessions. Monitor substance use via urine screens and encourage participation in AA/NA groups. Perform scheduled house checks for safety, security, and census compliance. Assist clients in defining vocational and educational goals while maintaining professional boundaries and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to pass a background investigation
- Must have valid California driver's license
- Must have good driving record
- Must have proof of current auto insurance
- Must meet insurability requirements of Company insurance carrier
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of mental health experience preferred
- Community-based mental health experience preferred
- Active CPR certification preferred
