Job Summary
Provide direct supervision, coaching, and training to Residential Support Staff while monitoring service delivery to ensure alignment with program goals. Manage the 24-hour staff schedule, conduct routine unit checks, fire drills, and safety inspections, and maintain accurate documentation including incident reports and shift logs. Champion safety protocols, oversee medication monitoring, and handle escalated concerns through conflict resolution and crisis intervention. Foster clear communication with Case Managers, Operations Teams, and community partners while facilitating life skills activities and group engagement. Assist in developing residents' individual service plans to support housing stability.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of current social services, homelessness, and housing issues and methods/approaches to address issues.
- Demonstrated experience leading a high performing team.
- Knowledge or understanding of tenants' rights and responsibilities as well as 'strengths based' case management.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
- Candidate must be able to lift items weighing 10-20 pounds.
- Candidates must possess a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, good driving record, and personal car insurance.
- Candidates will be required to pass criminal background and Child Protective Services background checks.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to attend occasional meetings at other FACETS office locations within Fairfax County, including 3 annual organization-wide fundraising events each year.
Desired Qualifications
- CPR Certification Preferred.
