Job Summary
Residential Coordinator role providing day-to-day supervision of Residential Counselors, coordinating with Rehabilitation Director for clinical supervision, ensuring direct services support independent living, driving/transporting clients, and maintaining compliant living environments per regulations. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Psychology/Social Work/Sociology/Mental Health or RN license with supervisory experience preferred; minimum HS diploma with 3 years in mental health/social services and at least 1 year supervisory experience required. Responsibilities include staff recruitment/training/evaluation, program/IRP development, ensuring coverage and on-call availability, providing crisis intervention, record-keeping, liaison with community, training, licensing/monitoring of homes, medication monitoring, health teaching, and collaboration with Rehabilitation Director. Physical ability to drive and travel, background checks, CPR/First Aid certification, and vehicle maintenance are required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Mental Health, or related area, from an accredited college or university; or license as a Registered Nurse and two years of experience working with persons with chronic mental illness, including some supervisory experience, is preferred.
- At a minimum, the successful candidate must possess a high school or equivalency diploma and a minimum of three years experience working in a mental health and/or social service field.
- At least one year of supervisory experience is required of all candidates.
