Job Summary
Create and manage nutritious menus, develop grocery lists, and maintain an organized pantry while preparing meals for residents. Supervise and support youth in individual and group settings, promoting a safe, structured, and nurturing environment. Develop individualized meal plans and lead healthy living and exercise programs to encourage wellness. Document client progress, identify service needs, and communicate observations to clinical and management staff. Provide academic, emotional, and daily living support, including transporting clients to appointments and assisting with household tasks like laundry. Maintain a clean, safe, and home-like facility while ensuring residents' health, safety, and well-being at all times. Apply crisis intervention and behavior management techniques, participate in required training, and maintain CPR/First Aid certification. Full-time position in Van Nuys with a $2,500 sign-on bonus available.
Required Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with adolescents or young adults with emotional, behavioral, developmental or mental health challenges
- Dependable, reliable, and able to consistently maintain the assigned work schedule
- Strong communication, teamwork, and relationship-building skills
