Job Summary
Residential Construction Manager responsible for field supervision of trade contractors, reviewing plans, managing schedules and quality of work, facilitating meetings among stakeholders, and ensuring safety/municipality compliance across residential master-planned developments in Tucson. Role emphasizes coordinating trade contractors, designers, and consultants; monitoring construction progress; and maintaining relationships with municipalities, trade partners, and owners in a high-quality, on-schedule delivery environment. Knowledge of wet/dry utilities, concrete, landscaping, paving, grading, signage, SWPPP, PM10; strong communication and organizational skills; ability to work outside in all weather conditions; capacity to manage multiple projects and maintain safety standards. This position includes use of tools such as company vehicle, credit card, computer, and cell phone, with opportunities for internal growth and employee ownership through ESOP.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in residential master-planned community development is a plus
- College degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field is a plus
- Knowledge of multiple trades including wet utilities, dry utilities, concrete, landscaping, paving, grading, signage, SWPPP, PM10 requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong personal organizational skills
- Able to manage time appropriately and assign priority to work duties
- Must be a strong decision-maker based on analysis of situations encountered
- Develop and maintain relationships with municipalities, trade partners, and owners
- Self-starter and able to manage time with minimal supervision
