Job Summary
Residential Construction Inspector (Contract) visits to on-site residential construction locations to photograph completed progress, submit photos via a mobile app, and coordinate with the report-writing team. Flexible, part-time, 1099 contract role with independent scheduling and project-based pay. Requires access to reliable transportation, a smartphone/tablet compatible with the Pruvan app, PPE (closed-toe shoes, long pants, safety vest), and basic knowledge of residential construction. No report writing required; duties center on on-site photo documentation and timely submission within 24–48 hours of assignment. Opportunities across multiple regions, with current expansion in Michigan; pay is per inspection and aligned to project type/location.
Required Qualifications
- Flexible schedule: inspections are assigned as needed, typically with 24–48 hours’ notice
- Reliable transportation: you’ll need a vehicle to travel to inspection sites
- Device: Smartphone or tablet (iPhone or Android) compatible with the Pruvan app; devices must be no older than 5 years
- Pruvan app usage for submitting photos
- PPE gear: closed-toe shoes, long pants, safety vest
- Ability to navigate uneven terrain and climb stairs at site inspections; physical capability to perform these functions with or without accommodation
